1250 Carpet from the Seljuk period – 13th century – replica

A replica of a medieval historical 1250 Carpet from the Seljuk period created according to the original fragments that have been preserved. The original dates from the Seljuk period and was probably created in the 12th century somewhere on the southern border of Anatolia, Cilicia and Kurdistan.

The originals 1250 Carpet from the Seljuk period were luxury goods, were relatively large (the closest of our dimensions is 2x4m) and were intended for the residences of the sultan or other high-ranking persons.

These are specific patterns that went out of fashion in the later period and the preserved specimens from this period are very rare. As far as we know, this replica is unique and we are the only ones who produce and offer this pattern.

This is a magic carpet if you trust fairy tales and carpet authors. Prayers are woven into the patterns, which protect the owner’s house and family, help him to succeed and fulfill his dreams.
